Keeping the home clean is a full time job, or at least it is for some people; a lack of planning can lead to a cluttered interior, and with that in mind, here are some cool house cleaning hacks we think everyone should know.

1. Salt cleans a hot oven – If you don’t wish to use chemicals to clean your oven, heat it up and use salt and a scourer to remove stubborn carbon and grease. 2. Use lemon on your cheese grater for the same result, plus it can remove stains from the sink. Lemon can be added to cleaning solutions to give a fresh acidic aroma, you can even put lemon in the water you use to mop floors.
5. Toothbrush for tile grout – Grout gets really dirty and the best way to clean it is with a toothbrush and washing up liquid; squirt a line of grout and use a hard toothbrush to run along grout lines.
